Applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens for recruitment as Religious Teacher in Indian Army as a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) for RRT 87 and 88. The Indian Army JCO 2018-19 Online registration of applications will open from 5th October 2018 to 3rd November 2018.

Age Limit: The Age bracket in respect of Civilian and In-Service candidates would not below 25 years of age and not above 34 years as on 1st October 2019.
Educational Qualifications:
Pandit and Pandit (Gorkha) for Gorkha Regiment –>Hindu candidates with Acharya in Sanskrit (OR) Shastri in Sanskrit with the one-year diploma in 'Karam Kand'.
Granthi –>Sikh candidates with Gyani' in Punjabi.
Maulvi and Maulvi (Shia) for Ladakh Scouts –>Muslim candidates with Maulvi Alim in Arabic or Adib Alim in Urdu.
Padre –>Christian candidates who have been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and is still on the approved list of the local Bishop.
Bodh Monk (Mahayana) –>Buddhist (Mahayana) candidates who have been ordained by the appropriate authority to be a monk / Buddhist priest. The term Appropriate Authority will mean the chief priest of the monastery where the person has been started in the priest. The head priest should be in possession of Geshe (PhD) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rabjam with a proper certificate from Monastery.
Selection Process: Written Examination, Physical Standard and Fitness Test, Interview.

2. Indian Army (Havildar)
Indian Army invites applications from eligible Male candidates for recruitment of as Havildar Education in Science and Arts streams in the Army Educational Corps of Indian Army. The last date for submission of online registration is 3rd November 2018.

Havildar Education in the Army Educational Corps in Science and Arts Stream
Vacancies will be released at the end of the recruiting process by the concerned Army authorities.
Age Limit:
(a) Civilian Candidates - 20 to 25 years as on 01 Oct 2017 (i.e candidates born between 01 Oct 19912to 30 Sep 1997).

(b) Serving Combatants on Remusteration - 20 to 28 years as on 01 Oct 2016 (i.e candidates born between 01 Oct 1988 to 30 Sep 1996).

Pay Scale: On completion of successful training the Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer) will be placed in pay band-1 (₹ 5200-20200) as per 6th Pay Commission. In addition, they will also be entitled to Grade Pay (₹ 2800) + Military Service Pay (₹ 2000) + Group X Pay (₹ 1400) per month. In addition, you will be entitled to DA, free accommodation, Group Insurance, the entitled ration for self, uniform, free medical and leave travel concession for self, family, and dependents, canteen facilities, and other allowances as admissible to the regular Army.

Educational Qualification:
(1) The candidate must have the working knowledge of either English or Hindi or both.
(2) The Candidate should have Graduation / Post Graduation degree from a recognized university.
(2a) Science Stream. B.Sc / B.Sc (IT) / BCA / BE / B.Tech / M.Sc / M.Sc (IT) / MCA / M.Tech (with or without B.Ed) with any of the subjects:- Physics, Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, Mathematics, Electronics, Biology and Computer Science.
(2b) BA / MA (with or without BEd) with any of the following subjects:- English Literature, Political Science, Hindi Literature, Economics, Urdu Literature, Psychology, History, Mathematics, Geography, and Sociology.

Medical standard:

(A) A candidate should have strong physical and mental health, the chest should be well developed, in which at least 5 cm expansion, there should be general hearing with every ear, there should be a sufficient number of natural teeth, That is, there should be 14 dental points with healthy gums. Candidates should not have diseases such as bones, hydroxyl, varicose veins or stool disorders.

(B) The service of combatants should be in the medical category SHAPE-1A on remuneration candidates. Remuneration candidates will be exempted from medical examination recruitment at the time of recruitment. The certificate indicating the medical category duly signed by the Army Medical Authority, where the person is serving and the counter is made by the commanding officer of the unit, will be presented by the candidate.
